
Skin Peels
A skin peel is used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Facial peels are intended to remove the outer layer of dead skin while exfoliating, brightening, reducing and lightening pigment, acne breakouts, and ageing skin.
Skin peels are great for all sorts of skin issues. There are many different choices of peels whether you want a quick lunch time peel or a more targeted treatment peel.

As we work and our trained in 7 different peel systems, we are able to customise 49 different strengths and options for each and every skin condition we see. We can also add LED light, IPL light or skin needling to peel treatments. Making our peels truly different to anyone in else in Ireland.
Each session take 30-45 minutes depending on the Chemical Peel.
A course of 6 peels is recommended every 2 weeks for maximum benefits.
It’s advisable to refrain from sunbathing 15 days before and after each peel session. There is no anaesthesia required and no downtime with these treatments, so you can return to work or your regular routine straight after each session.
Each peel is unique, so your therapist will require you to be on some homecare prep for level 2-4 peels.
Avoid exposure to natural or artificial light, sources of direct heat and usage of make-up for 48hrs after treatment. Stay out of swimming pools and don’t use post-peeling treatment with retinoids, depilation with wax.

- Active herpes simplex or warts in the area to be treated
- Open wounds
- Recent sun exposure
No downtime, however some clients may experience a light exfoliation following first few days post treatment.
Homecare is given after each treatment in level 2-4.
We first carry out a deep cleanse with an active exfoliating cleanser and a degreaser to ensure the treatment area is completely clean and oil-free, after which we apply the chemical peel and leave it to work on the skin. Then we neutralise the acids and apply a moisturising mask.
During treatment, patients may experience a heating, itching or burning sensation, accompanied by a slight tightness. Afterwards, you will probably notice some dryness/peeling of the skin, but this can be controlled using the appropriate creams. Use UV protection plus hydrating and soothing cream. Avoid rubbing or picking the skin with your fingers while healing. Avoid running water directly onto your face while showering.
Chemical peels have long lasting results with good home-care for prolonged results. For Specific Skin concerns this will be discussed in your treatment consultation.

Peels start from Level 1 to Level 4 which are more advanced.
